Good Charlotte - We Believe

Really old song from 2004, but I still keep it on my ipod at all times. I first saw the music video on MTV (yeah, it’s THAT old) while on vacation in Vietnam. I failed to see the blatant Christian references in the lyrics back then. But now that I have been enlightened, I love it even more. Seven years of countless playbacks so far, but I still can’t get tired of it. :)

This song came up, like it has on so many occasions, while I was jogging tonight. @1:32, the lyrics go, “There’s a love that could fall down like rain…” And at that exact moment, I looked up at the purple sky, a literal incarnation of van Gogh’s “The Starry Night.” And I felt a single raindrop fall onto my face. :)))

Thanks for the much-needed reminder, God.
